Through this colourful illustrated talk we learn about the history of West Wycombe Park, the house, its grounds and artefacts. We will also meet key members of the Dashwood family. Probably the most well-known and notorious of them was Sir Francis Dashwood, the 11th Baron le Despencer, politician, Chancellor of the Exchequer, builder of the house, rake, bon viveur, and founder of the notorious Hell-Fire Club.

Peter Hague: Is a guide at two local Country House estates and has been a National Trust volunteer at West Wycombe House for many years.
