Adventures in Arts for 5-9 Year Olds

This is a brand new 4 week after school course providing fun with art and leading to an Arts Award Discover level certificate.

Dates and time:

• Tuesday May 3rd, 4-5.30 pm  – What is Art?
• Tuesday May 10th, 4-5.30 pm – Meeting an Artist: A workshop led by Robert Duncan, cartoonist
• Tuesday May 17th, 4-5.30 pm – Exploring and creating in a different medium with a focus on printing
• Tuesday May 24th, 4-5.30 pm – Collating a log book and sharing their art discoveries

The course will also include some home based activities, such as hunting for examples of art and design at home.

In June parents/carers will be invited to a celebration event where children can share what has been achieved and receive their Discover Certificates.  

• Cost for the course (4 sessions) £20 to include the certificate and all resources. Payment must be made in full before attending the course. 
• Venue: Thame Museum – Parents/carers to drop off children at 4pm and collect at 5.30pm
• Maximum class size 12
