Last Stop Thame – 1st July – 30th September 2023

An Exhibition of The History of Thame Railway

Did you know that Thame once had its very own Railway Station?  It was on a Branch Line that ran from Princes Risborough to Oxford, calling on a number of villages on the way.  All that remains of it now is the Phoenix Trail from Thame to Princes Risborough

Our brand new exhibition, Last Stop Thame, looks back at the days when the Railway and the Station played an essential part in the life and development of the Town over a period of 100years

Discover this fascinating part of Thame’s social history.  Using  period exhibits, contemporary photographs, models, video and individual personal memories learn all about a part of the Story of Our Town that has vanished forever.

Do you have any memories of Thame Railway that you would like to share with us?
