The much awaited brand new Robin Gibb Gallery was launched by our patron, Dwina Gibb, on Wednesday 30th August.
Almost 100 visitors attended to watch Dwina cut the ribbon. Our chairman and Thame’s Mayor, Adrian Dite gave a short speech of welcome and the launch was toasted by a glass of Prosecco and a specially baked cupcake.
This permanent display gallery, dedicated to the 20th century music icons, the Bee Gees, is filled with artefacts, photographs and other memorabilia from the personal archive of Robin’s widow, Dwina. We are very grateful to be able to display these wonderful personal items. The exhibition has been generously supported by the Robin Gibb Trust who facilitated the acquisition of the new display cabinets.
Some of the display will be refreshed throughout the year, to allow visitors to enjoy repeat visits
