The Book of Notable Things‘ is a publication that has had many updates and reprints over the years. It was first published in 1579 and the most numerous reprint was in 1815. It is still in print today.

The copy on permanent display in the Museum is a First Edition from 1579, written in English by Thomas Lupton and draws on many other historical publications. Click on the picture for more details.
