Museum & Heritage Volunteer of the Year Award
We are delighted to announce that our very own Volunteers Manager, Lin Wylie has been shortlisted for this prestigious award. The winner will be announced in an online ceremony on September 22nd. We wish her the best of luck and believe she certainly deserves to win!!
100 Club : Especially for members of Thame Museum the 100 Club is a unique way to help us with fundraising. The 100 club is a quarterly prize draw with only 100 subscribers. Half the money you pay goes to the Museum and the other half is returned to the lucky winner in the form of a prize draw that takes place each quarter. In the words of a slightly bigger prize draw…“It Could Be You…”!!
Download the form, print it, fill it in and post or email or drop it back to Thame Museum
Early in September members, volunteers and their guests made a private visit to the Walled Garden on the Wormsley Estate. On arrival they were given an introductory talk by the Head Gardner, which covered the history of the estate, and then everyone had a chance to wander around the garden at leisure, with the friendly Garden Team on hand to answer any questions. The weather was perfect – a lovely sunny afternoon. A big thank you to the Wormsley Estate Team for making such an enjoyable afternoon possible.
